處女星號”首抵古城‧旅遊局熱迎1200各國遊客 (“SuperStar Virgo” first arrived in the ancient city of the Tourism Bureau heat welcome 1200 international visitors)
（馬六甲4日訊）雲頂世界“處女星號”郵輪（Superstar Virgo Cruise Liner）今日首次抵達馬六甲遊艇碼頭，載來1千200名各國船客登陸馬六甲，受到甲州行政議員拿督威拉拉迪夫淡米仄及旅遊局的接待，歡迎他們到馬六甲各景點遊玩。
每兩週在甲靠岸一次
處女星號郵輪即日起，每兩週將在馬六甲靠岸一次，一直到2014年4月份，每次逗留在甲州8小時，預計一次可為甲州帶來50萬令吉的收入。
拉迪夫代表甲州首席部長拿督斯里莫哈末阿里主持有關儀式，他在新聞發佈會上表示，配合這項郵輪靠岸計劃，海事局將陸續提昇提昇有關碼頭的設施，包括供遊客登陸的走道及巴士載客的道路等。
他說，今日登岸的1千200名遊客來自中國、印度、韓國、印尼、泰國、菲律賓、緬甸、新加坡、日本及新山等，其中有400人來自印度，希望日後可達致每次2千名遊客的目標。
“郵輪可容納2千400名船客及1千名工作人員，換言之可容納接近4千人，若每個人登陸馬六甲花費500令吉，將為甲州旅遊業帶來可觀的收入。”

Onboard Experience for Students
About 180 hospitality students from the Advanced Tourism International College, KDU Penang, PTPL Penang, Reliance College Penang Campus and SENTRAL Technology College here were recently given an insight into how the business operated onboard the SuperStar Libra.
At the end of their tour, the tourism students from five colleges learnt how the hospitality business works onboard a cruise ship.
